Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms", "Terms of Service") carefully before using the ChoreChamp mobile application (the "App") operated by Shankar ("us", "we", or "our").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using ChoreChamp, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not use our App.

2. Description of Service

ChoreChamp is a family chore and allowance management application that allows:

• Parents to create and assign chores to family members
• Children to track and complete assigned chores
• Families to manage allowances and savings goals
• Syncing of family data across devices via iCloud

3. User Accounts and Family Data

ChoreChamp does not require account registration. Your family's data is stored locally on your device and optionally synced through your Apple iCloud account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your device and iCloud account
• The accuracy of information entered into the app
• Setting and protecting your parent mode PIN
• All activities that occur within the app on your devices

4. Subscriptions and Payments

ChoreChamp offers premium features through auto-renewable subscriptions:

• Monthly Subscription: $3.99 per month
• Yearly Subscription: $24.99 per year
• Lifetime Purchase: $59.99 one-time payment

Subscription terms:

• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings
• Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use ChoreChamp only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its related systems
• Use the App to harm, exploit, or endanger minors in any way
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices in the App

6. Children's Use

ChoreChamp is designed for family use, including children under parental supervision. Parents are responsible for:

• Supervising their children's use of the app
• Ensuring appropriate chore assignments for their children's age and abilities
• Managing their children's profiles and data within the app

7. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Shankar and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

ChoreChamp is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of any information obtained through the App

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shankar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data
• Loss of profits or revenue
• Loss of goodwill
• Any other intangible losses

This applies regardless of whether such damages were foreseeable or whether we were advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Shankar from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising out of or related to your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App will first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation. If informal resolution is unsuccessful, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable laws.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
